First Day of Classes
A reminder that the first day of school next year is September 2. If you have any questions, please contact the school office starting August 21 and we will happily support you.
Regular office hours are 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, our office is open from 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM. During the school year, you can also leave a message on the school answering machine or email the school at Midnaporeschool@cbe.ab.ca and a member of the office staff will contact you.
Please note we have a soft entry in the mornings from 7:55-8am. Instructional time officially begins at 8am. We dismiss students at 2:30pm Monday-Thursday and 12pm on Friday’s.
Our lunch hours are Monday-Thursday from 11:30am-12:10pm.
Please note our office will open for the 2025-26 school year on August 21 at 8am. The office will be open from 8-2:30 from August 21 until the first day of school.
Looking ahead to the next school year, we are committed to building on our caring community and further enhancing the educational experience for every student. We will continue to keep you informed of any updates through our school website. You can expect a welcome back email from the office and your child’s teacher on August 28. This email will be an introduction and will help guide you through information you will need for your first day back to school. We are happy to share our current staffing for the 2025-26 school year

Our yellow school bus routes are designed over the summer using the addresses submitted before June's pre-registration deadline. Get ready for some exciting journeys!

School Supplies
School supplies are ordered by the teachers and distributed to students throughout the school year. Students are not required to purchase any school supplies. However, CBE adds the School Supply fee to parents' MyCBE accounts for online payment. A pair of comfortable indoor shoes would be beneficial, as well as a sturdy, child-friendly backpack.

Learning Technologies & Student Wi-Fi
Digital technologies are transforming how we teach our students. We utilize a range of technology tools to personalize each student’s learning experience, including getting connected to Wi-Fi for seamless access to educational resources.
Off-Site Activities
Keep updated on field-trips and other exciting off-site activities throughout the year. We're excited to expand on learning opportunities by stepping outside of the classroom.
