2026 年 美纳博小学阅读马拉松挑战 – 准备就绪！
我们很高兴地宣布，Midnapore 学校和我们优秀的学生家长委员会将携手举办 2026 年 Midnapore 学校阅读挑战赛 (Read-a-thon)！
从 4 月 7 日 开始，每位学生都将参与以下两项比拼：
- 谁能阅读最长的分钟数
- 谁能筹集到最多的资金
所筹集的资金将全部直接用于支持我们的学校。本次筹款活动的目的是激励学生加速提升阅读能力，同时帮助学校实现现代化升级——首先从更换新的课桌椅开始。
对于此前因二维码技术问题造成的延迟，我们深表歉意。现在所有问题都已解决，我们可以正式开始了！
在最近的一次集会中，我们与学生们讨论了阅读的重要性：定期练习能够提升阅读能力、增强自信和流利度，并培养对阅读的终身热爱。我们还强调了阅读有助于大脑发育、激发想象力，并为每天学习新事物打开大门。我们很高兴看到学生们不断挑战自我、探索新的故事，并在阅读中成长。

Registration opened January 12, 2026 and is ongoing. Please click the Kindergarten Registration link for information and next steps.
Yearbook
Families, please note Midnapore school is doing a 2025-26 Yearbook again this year to capture all the great learning moments from this year. If you are interested in purchasing one, an order form with a QR code was sent home with your child. Please note that our graduating students in Grade 4 Mandarin and Grade 6 regular do not need to purchase one. The yearbook will be included in their graduation gift.
Have You Moved?
Have you changed your address or community during the school year? Please notify Ms. Ross at plross@cbe.ab.ca if your address has changed. We are required by Alberta Education to hold updated information. A hard copy form will also be sent home for you to complete - please return it with your child so we can determine accurate numbers for the next school year.
