Dear Midnapore Families,

Our staff would like to send an extended thank you to all families who attended last evening's Lunar New Year Celebration at Harold Panabaker school. What a celebration of quality language programming, culture and performance that included all areas of our curriculum. We were impressed by our students' incredible work and staff's determination towards this annual event. The students proudly presented Chinese songs, dances, and culture-rich performances. Both school communities, parents, and friends were so proud of the enthusiastic student presentation. The talented students, teachers, and school councils of Harold Panabaker and Midnapore also worked collaboratively to create and curate beautiful costumes and sets to enhance their performance and cultural understanding. Students worked tirelessly to display their talents in band, martial arts, dramatic skits, dragon dances, and songs. Artwork that hung in the foyer displayed students’ interpretations of the Lunar New Year celebration. The amazing performance displayed values of family, unity, courage, resiliency and student pride. This is the year of the Dragon, and we wish you and your families good fortune, where courage and confidence are highlighted.

这周四美纳博小学和博爱德中学联合举办了龙年春节晚会。参加此次晚会的嘉宾包括CBE 教育局局长, 教育局董事, 专家 及其他中英双语学校的校长和副校长。

为了庆祝我们一年一次的中国新年，从十二月份开始，所有的学生们都学习了关于中国新年的习俗，并完成了很多美术作品。

在这里，我们要特别感谢所有家长对此次晚会的大力支持。中英双语学校的发展离不开你们的支持和帮助。祝大家新春快乐，龙年大吉！

Back Compound & Walkways

We express our gratitude for your flexibility with our icy pathways and compound. Our facilities have been working to bring other support in to ensure a safe area around the outside of our school. We will continue to put sand and salt down and apologize for these icy conditions. It is very difficult to keep up with the ongoing melting and icing conditions.

Kindergarten Registration Is Now Open

2024-2025 Kindergarten registration opened on January 15, 2024. Kindergarten students must be 5 years by December 31, 2024. At least one legal guardian must reside in the community of Midnapore unless you are interested in our Mandarin program. All registration must be completed online via your MyCBE account for parents with children in the CBE and via School Engage for new families to the CBE.

NEW – Volunteer Applications – MyCBE Account

From February 9, 2024, you will be able to apply to be a volunteer via your MyCBE Account (School Engage - forms). In addition to completing your registration form online you can also upload two pieces of government ID. Once you receive your CPS clearance letter you can upload a copy to your MyCBE account.
