Pink Shirt Day
In response to a new Grade 9 student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt, two Nova Scotia high school students took a stand against bullying by distributing pink shirts to all the boys in their school to wear. This act of kindness has grown into a symbol against bullying in schools across the globe.
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, wear a pink shirt to help spread kindness and a sense of belonging!
Promoting inclusion is something that occurs in our schools every day. Please wear pink on February 26 to show collective support to stop bullying.
Please note that Tuesday is also a pink shirt celebration day as we want to highlight the significance of pink shirt day.
Kindergarten Registration Opens
Please note that kindergarten registration opened Monday, January 13. Please don’t hesitate to contact the school 403-777-8680 if you require any support.

Choir Members

Absence Line
Please leave your child’s teacher’s name, class number, spell your child’s first and last names clearly and reason for the absence.
Running Late
If you are calling from 2:15 to 2:30 please be aware that it is difficult to get messages for your children when classes are outside, in the gym or not in their room. Inform your children that if for some reason they do not see you to please come to the office and then they will be safe, and we will then look after calling you and finding out what the plan is. Thank you. The office is very busy at the end of the day, and this will help support us.
Fees
On February 26, 2025, all the grade 3 and 4 classes will be attending the Brave Hitmen game at the Scotiabank Saddledome. This fee is now posted on your account. We remind families that you must pay for the field trip before the event.
School Council Meeting - March 3
Please note that we have moved our March 3rd School council meeting to online. At this time, we are unable to host evening In-person events but still prioritize our school council meetings. Please join us at 6:30pm for our school engagement presentation, as well as for our regular school council meeting. Please click on the link below if you’re able to join us.
