Dear Midnapore Families, 

Thank you again to all who supported our community initiative by sending in jackets and blankets.  Our grade 4s will continue to show courage over February.  We dropped all the donations to our local fire hall, and they have gone to those in need.  Great job, Midnapore School.  

Black History Month 

During the month of February, Midnapore students and staff will celebrate and explore the many contributions of Black Canadians, peoples, and communities worldwide. Black History Month is an opportunity for schools to amplify and spotlight the innovative, courageous, and inspiring voices, stories, and contributions of Black Canadians and communities. 

Chinese New Year Concert Updates 

CNY Concert, Our Chinese New Year celebration of performances will begin at 6:30pm at Harold Panabaker School. DOORS OPEN AT 5:45 pm. It is very important that all students arrive on time to prepare for the evening. students need to be dropped off in their designated classrooms at Harold Panabaker School no later than 6:00pm. Parents are asked to pick students up from the classrooms following the celebration at 8:00pm.

Kindergarten Registration Is Now Open  

2024-2025 Kindergarten registration opened on January 15, 2024. Kindergarten students must be 5 years by December 31, 2024. At least one legal guardian must reside in the community of Midnapore unless you are interested in our Mandarin program. All registration must be completed online via your MyCBE account for parents with children in the CBE and via School Engage for new families to the CBE.
