Registration & Transfers
If you are already here at Midnapore School please note that you are already registered, and you do NOT need to register again. If you are in grade 6 and moving to MidSun School, please note that this is an automatic registration, and you do NOT need to register again. If your child is in the Mandarin Program and in grade 4 and going to Harold Panabaker please note this is an automatic registration. If your child is moving to a school other than MidSun or Harold Panabaker please call me at 403-777-8680 or email me your information at plross@cbe.ab.ca so we can ensure that your child’s information moves with him/her. If you have any questions regarding next year, please give the office a call. Thank you.
Kindergarten Registration Opens
Please note that kindergarten registration opens Monday, January 13. Please don’t hesitate to contact the school 403-777-8680 if you require any support.

Drop and Go Area
Please remember that our school start time is 7:55 with a soft entry of 7:50am. If you are dropping your child at the front of the school, please remember this is a drop and go area. Teachers will have your child’s door open until 7:55. If you arrive after 7:55am we will be happy to welcome your child through the front door.
Energy Club
We are excited to welcome back our energy club in the new year. Please have your child to the front doors for opening at 7:30am. If you are late, we will be unable to accommodate you for that day.
Mandarin Program Update
Welcome back! This month, All the Mandarin classes are working hard to prepare for our upcoming Chinese New Year concert. This week in kindergarten, we began learning our Chinese New Year performance song. We also explored the story of the Nian monster and learned about the significance of the Year of the Snake. To celebrate the festive season, the students created beautiful Chinese paintings using their fingers, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. It’s been an exciting start to the year as we dive into the rich traditions of Chinese New Year!
