Dear Families, thank you to all of those who attended our Wisdom assembly on Tuesday.  Our grade 1 students displayed their wisdom and inspired us all to be our best.  Our grade 3’s did a great job of representing us at the Anti-bullying hitmen game and role modelled these lessons to the rest of our school over the course of the week.

Midnapore Lake

Please note we have a large water area near our back compound.  We are encouraging students to stay away as this is a significant safety hazard.  We have contacted the city to support us and are waiting for a response.  We also request that you send extra clothing in your child’s bag as many students require a change of clothing based on the amounts of water in the field.

School Engagement

We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we will be sharing information about school planning and asking you to share your perspectives. Your opinion helps us make decisions with your child(ren) in mind.

During this engagement, you will have the opportunity to learn about:

  • School planning, which includes our school development plan, school budget and school fees
  • How the school development plan sets the overall focus and direction for a school to improve student learning outcomes
  • How the school budget provides funding to implement our school development plan
  • School fees and why they are necessary

The links to our school engagement survey are below.  If you have time, please complete the survey to ensure your feedback is heard. The survey will not open until March 3 and closes on March 17.

Registration

To register please visit Student Registration and follow the steps based on your child.

Absence Line

Please leave your child’s teacher’s name, class number, spell your child’s first and last names clearly and reason for the absence.

Lates

We are experiencing many late comers every morning. We urge you to try your best to come to school on time as much learning starts immediately after the bell rings. If you are going to be late and you leave a message please leave your child’s teacher’s name, room number and spell your child’s first and last names clearly and reason for the late.
