Dear Midnapore Families,  

Our staff and students appreciate the ongoing support our parents and school council provide for our school.  We were spoiled this week with a “Souper” day where many parents brought in special soup for our staff.  We also appreciate all of those parents who stepped up and who are supporting the casino this coming weekend.  This support will create more learning opportunities for students, the purchasing of residences, technology and other wish list items for our students.  Thank you!

What families/individuals will need: 

School Photo Days 

With students returning to class, we’re moving forward with rescheduling photo days across the province. Your school’s new dates are as follows: 

  • Original Photo Day: November 17–18, 2025 
  • Retake Day: December 10, 2025 
  • Monday the 17 will be kinder reg and Mandarin m/w and grades 2, 3, 4/5, 
  • Tuesday the 18 will be mandarin k t/t and grades 1, 6, ALP 

Parent-Teacher Conferences 

This conference is an opportunity for parents/guardians and teachers to discuss your child's current learning. 

Parents can book appointments with teachers via their MyCBE accounts.  At least one parent/legal guardian in every family must have an active account.   

Access to book appointments with Teachers will be available from Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 8:00am until Wednesday November 26, 2025 at 11:59 pm. 

Conferences will be held in-person, in the child's classroom. If you prefer to make an alternate arrangement with your child's teacher, please email them directly.  

Mandarin Team Update 

It’s a short week this week, and we hope everyone is settling back into their routines. As the weather is getting colder, please remember to dress your children warmly for school. 

Next week, we will have our school photos. Please check your child’s class message for the exact date.
