Dear Midnapore Families,
Welcome back! We were so excited to see all our students again. This week, our focus has been on reconnecting as a school and classroom community and refocusing on our classroom routines. The students have done a wonderful job settling back in and reengaging with their learning.
Over the past few weeks, our incredible Support Staff have been hard at work behind the scenes—photocopying, laminating, gluing, cutting, cleaning rooms, and organizing storage areas. Thanks to their efforts, teachers returned to beautifully prepared and organized spaces, which was such a wonderful surprise. A special thank you to our parent council who surprised our staff today with coffee and treats. We are grateful for our amazing parent support and appreciate all that you do.
School Photo Days
With students returning to class, we’re moving forward with rescheduling photo days across the province. Your school’s new dates are as follows:
- Original Photo Day: November 17–18, 2025
- Retake Day: December 10, 2025
💉 Vaccinations
Our Grade 6 Vaccination date for Midnapore School is set for Friday, November 14.
🌺 Remembrance Day Assembly
We will be moving ahead with our planning for our Remembrance Day Assembly. On Friday, November 7, we warmly welcome parents and families to join us in the gym from 11:00–11:45 a.m. as we come together to honour and remember those who have served. More details will be shared as our planning continues.
🚌 Field Trips
Please note that all field trips from CBE schools have been cancelled or postponed until November 7. If your child’s class had a field trip previously booked, their teacher will be in touch to share updated plans once more information is available.
