Dear Midnapore Families,
We would like to wish all families a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend. Thank you to the parents who brought the lovely Friday treats and for your ongoing support.
Please note, we are still in outbreak for Hand foot and mouth. If your child has any illness-related symptoms, please do not send them to school. We have been directed by AHS to monitor students for illness to minimize the spread of this illness. We have also had daily deep cleaning each evening to clean all high touch surfaces.
Mandarin Team Update
The changing season brought Grade One students outdoors for a hands-on learning experience on the land. Using one of our best learning tools—our five senses—students explored their surroundings, observed and collected signs of autumn, and recorded their discoveries through scientific sketches and labels. Along the way, they also expanded their Mandarin vocabulary by learning the seasons, days of the week, and months of the year. Through these meaningful outdoor experiences, students connected with the natural world while building their scientific observation skills and Mandarin language knowledge.
随着季节的变化，一年级的孩子们走到户外，在大自然中开启了一段充满乐趣的探索之旅。孩子们运用每个人都拥有的最佳学习工具——我们的五种感官，仔细观察周围的环境，寻找并收集秋天的迹象，再通过科学绘图和标注记录自己的发现。在探索的过程中，孩子们还学习了与季节、星期和月份有关的中文词汇。通过这些户外学习体验，孩子们不仅加深了对自然世界的认识，也培养了科学观察能力，并进一步丰富了中文词汇。

School Council
