Field Trips
We are now beginning the process of booking field trips for our students. As soon as possible we will communicate dates and times and the fee that will be attached to the event. Please note that fees for field trips will be added to your MyCBE account and are due by the date of the field trip. This is a big change from the past when you could pay your fees towards the end of the year. Please pay your fee as soon as possible to avoid missing the deadline date. We thank you in advance for your attention to this very important change to the fee process.

Food Trucks on Sept 26
When you come to meet your child's teacher, the School Council is planning for food trucks to be at the school in the hopes it helps with the dinner rush! Grab a bite, stay to visit with one another and give your kids some time on the playground or gaga ball pit. 10% of our food purchases go to our school council and towards items we purchase for student learning.

Mandarin Program update
This week in the classroom, we had a meaningful discussion about Terry Fox, his incredible journey, and the importance of resilience. We explored how Terry Fox embodied perseverance in the face of challenges, inspiring us to keep going even when things get tough. After our conversation, we expressed these ideas creatively through drawing and Chinese writing, reflecting on Terry Fox's legacy and the value of doing hard things, even when it's difficult. It was a week of learning, reflection, and creative expression! Come by and check the students’ master pieces on our bulletin board!!
