Dear Midnapore Families,
Please see important upcoming information about the week ahead.
Earlier this week, the Midnapore School community came together for a meaningful Orange Shirt Day assembly, followed by a community walk.
Our students and staff demonstrated care, respect, and a shared commitment to learning about the truth of Canada’s residential school history and to advancing the work of reconciliation.
Thank you to our students and staff for helping make this such a meaningful day. Together, we continue to learn, listen, remember, and take action toward a future grounded in respect, understanding, and reconciliation.

Orange Shirt Day 橙色衫日
On September 29, our entire Midnapore School community came together for a special Orange Shirt Day assembly and community walk.
Through age-appropriate learning and reflection, students learned about the meaning of Orange Shirt Day and the history and impact of residential schools. Together, we reflected on the importance of reconciliation, respect, kindness, and inclusion.
It was wonderful to have our whole school together — learning, reflecting, and walking as one community. It was a meaningful and memorable day for all of us.
Orange Shirt Day

Thank you. Please call me if you have any questions.
