Dear Midnapore Families 

Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Midnapore School! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer with family and friends. 

We are delighted to welcome back our returning students, staff, and families, and extend a warm greeting to those joining Midnapore for the first time. Our staff at Midnapore School had a wonderful break and are now back preparing for our upcoming school year.   

At Midnapore School, we are committed to creating a learning community where every student can thrive and have the opportunity for individual success. Your child’s teacher will be in touch with you in the very near future to support you with all the information you require for a successful start to the school year.

We value the strong partnership we share with you and recognize the important role you play in your child’s education. Together, we will make this year a meaningful and memorable one. Once you receive the opening email from your child’s teacher, please connect with them for how we can support your child.

A few reminders as we begin the year: 

  • Regular updates from your child’s teacher and the office will be shared on Fridays to keep you informed of important dates, share highlights about what your child is learning at school, and keep you up to date with school news.  
  • Our staff has grown significantly this year, so our staff parking lot is going to be full.  Please do not drop off or pick up students from our staff parking lot.  Please note, we also have more buses this year so give yourself additional time for dropping off.  We have a soft entry at 7:55am so you can drop your child off out front, and we will assist them to their door.  Please do not park your car in the roundabout as the front will be quite busy. 
  • Our school website is updated regularly with key information, including: 
  • School Calendar
  • Back to School Information
  • Recess and Lunch Information
  • Office hours and Bell times
  • Illness/Medical – If you have a child that requires additional support, please ensure the form is handed in to the office with the medication clearly labeled in a Ziploc bag. 

For the first day of school meeting spot information, please reference your teachers opening email for where to meet.  If you require further support, please contact the office or approach a member of staff on day one and we will happily direct you.  For any students taking the bus, we will be there to welcome them and help them connect with their teacher.
